Jackson Folkers - 5th Grade Teacher

I've been a teacher for four years now, starting my career in Bellingham Washington. I grew up in Hoquiam Washington, going to Grays Harbor College to get my teaching degree and graduating in 2023. This summer, I moved back to Hoquiam with my wife and am a new teacher at Jefferson-Lincoln! I wanted to become a teacher to inspire the youth and help them as much as possible just like my previous teachers ahead of me. 

 

I am extremely passionate about sports with my favorite sports being football, baseball, and basketball. Being so passionate about sports has led me to coach almost every year. I have coached college baseball, middle school basketball, cross-country, and track so far. In my free time I collect baseball and football cards, mostly collecting Mariners and Seahawks cards, taking my dog on walks or to the beach, and hanging out with my wife!
