Susanne Lackie - Special Education Teacher
Teaching is my passion, and as a parent of two CSD graduates, I am committed to helping our students and community grow in every way possible. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and/or concerns this year and beyond. Email is the best way to contact me, but you can also reach me at the high school by calling extension 6083.
It is an honor to teach our future leaders here at Centralia High School. Centralia is where I call home, and both of my children attended and graduated from our schools. I have been teaching in the Centralia School District for nearly 11 years and hope to retire here someday.
Throughout my career, I have taught at both the elementary and secondary levels. At Centralia High School, I have taught courses including Essentials of Personal Finance, Principles of Geometry, Principles of Algebra, Essentials Math, Reading, and Writing.
I am proud to be a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), a distinction earned by a small percentage of educators nationwide. I'm committed to continuous professional growth and to using research-informed practices to support student learning and success.
My educational background includes degrees and coursework in Elementary and Secondary Education, Special Education, and U.S. History from The Evergreen State College and Centralia College.
