Tammie Jensen-Tabor, Executive Director of Special Services

I am pleased to introduce myself as the Executive Director of Special Services for the Centralia School District. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve the students and families of our community and to support those who access the many services provided through our department.

With more than 30 years of experience in the field of Special Education, I feel especially fortunate to work alongside such a dedicated and talented team of educational professionals. Our shared commitment is to create a culture of success in which every learner has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential—from preschool through age 22.

The Department of Special Services provides leadership and support for a wide range of programs and services, including Special Education, Section 504, Highly Capable services, Title I and the Learning Assistance Program, Developmental Preschool, School Counseling, School Nursing, and Mental Health supports.

We are a diverse and talented team, united by a common purpose: to ensure that students and families receive the support, resources, and opportunities they need to be successful. We are honored to partner with our families, staff, and community as we work together to support the success and well-being of every student in the Centralia School District.
